Nights of Ice by Spike Walker - book review
If you love the show "Deadliest Catch", you will really enjoy this book. I saw the author on one of the "After the Catch" shows & that's how I found the books. I also purchased, read & enjoyed "Working on the Edge" by Spike Walker. And I plan to buy Spike's 3rd. similar genre book soon.

Pinball Hall of Fame: Gottlieb Colletion Wii Gamecube
Our favorite game for Wii is the Williams Pinball (game is made for Wii). The Gottlieb Pinball is still only available for GameCube in the US, so bought GC controllers and the Gottlieb Collection and figured it would be great. No problem getting the wireless controllers or game to work in the Wii. The problem is with the game itself. The graphics overall are not up to par with the Williams collection & the "realistic glass glare" is so strong that it often makes it too difficult to even see the ball & play some of the games. We are using it on a 42" TV. so don't know if would be any better on a bigger or smaller set. Bottom line - If you don't have the Williams Pinball Collection for Wii, I would highly recommend it. But I'd say "pass" on the Gamecube Gottlieb for your Wii.

Lasted 1 year & 1 month
Lasted 1 year and 1 month. Magnetron spinning and won't turn off unless the door is open. Not worth the cost of repair. Our previous Sharp lasted abt. 14 years. This one lasted long enough to be out of warranty. Definitely was much lighter and cheaper build than the old one. Had to put rubber on the feet because was so hard to push button & unit was lightweight, so it slid into cabinet when you pushed the button to open the door. Went to a different brand this time.
