Theological Biography is a great approach.
Dan Segraves, my old professor, has wove together in great detail the biography of a man he once met when he was a student.
Despite the copious footnotes, the story flows well and is quite readable. Life is unpredictable and so there are a few surprises in the life story of Andrew Urshan. There are no photographs, but Segraves fully takes advantage of the impressive paper trail that Urshan left in his wake.
There were many early Pentecostal evangelists. Few of their lives are as well documented as that of Andrew Urshan by Dan Segraves.
