The Story of the World
The Story of the World (Vol 1 AG) is a wonderful guide to help you get through this Vol 1 book of Ancient Times. It offers wonderful suggestions and applications to help enrich this curriculum to make it come alive. This seems a bit secular; so if you want something from a strictly Christian perspective; this may not be the best choice for you. This is a great series if you want something from a "Classical" stand point. Over-all, I think that this is a wonderful series. This series of books comes from a "The Well-Trained Mind" by Susan Wise Bauer.

The Little House Way
As a family, we love the Little House on the Prairie DVD's. The series showed what the past was like (to a degree) and how simple, yet hard, the times were. In a culture (now) that thrives on competitiveness and materialism; this series has the gracious opportunity to show how to live a simple way and still be happy with less. To show and appreciate the value of hard work and the satsifying rewards of reaping what YOU sew!!!!

The Successful Homeschool Family Handbook by Moore
2 personnes sur 2 ont trouvé cet avis utile I love this book. As a veteran homeschooler, there are times that homeschooling can see very overwhelming. Life gets crazy. Well, this book can breathe some relaxation and asurance to your homeschooling venture. The Moore's give a refreshing new look at something that we all know to be a tried and true "method" of teaching our children. I really recommend this book. But, i urge you to steer clear if you are the textbook mentality as it will not give you any encouragement. But, if you are looking for a new way of doing things or looking for a more relaxing approach, then this is the book for you!!! Enjoy!!!
