Couldn't Live Without Them!
I have been using Lock & Lock containers since 2008 when I purchased about 40 of them to store all our dry food for a year-long sail across the Pacific Ocean. Ten years on, I am still using the originals and have added to my extensive stash of Lock & Locks. During that time, I've tried other knock-off brands and they just are not as 1) durable 2) leak-proof and 3) good value for money. Besides food storage, we now use them to store tools (to prevent rusting), store paints/varnishes (to prevent evaporation), organize small parts, store sensitive electronics (to prevent water/humidity damage), store liquids in the refrigerator so they don't spill while underway, store medical supplies, store flares, there are a thousand uses - including to protect my camera when we are kayaking or dinghying to shore. They are becoming harder and harder to find these days, but well worth the effort to locate and purchase them... LOVE THEM!
