Use available accessories, including a Y connector, to support the ability to connect two stereo headphone sets at once. Use the wireless IR remote control to change channels from the comfort of any seat in your home or while driving down the road. With upgradeable software options available, you always have the confidence of knowing your Sirius XM XACT XTR1 Audio/Video Receiver is always in a position to deliver an ideal audio listening experience. While audiophiles are comparatively similar in their love for music, the choices of music they are passionate about are often not the same. The Sirius XTRA Audio/Video unit opens up music listening options to suit the wide range of musical tastes out there. With 12 different categories of audio streams available, you always have the ability to listen to your favorites at home or on the go. The nine music categories include Pop, Country, Hip-Hop, Rock, R&B/Urban, Dance/Electronic, Classical, Latin/World, and Jazz Standards. The remaining categories include News, Traffic and Weather; Talk and Entertainment; and Sports. Store your favorite tunes by downloading files from devices, such as computers or tablets. There is a 1.625-inch by 1-inch amber dot matrix display screen featured on the Sirius XTR1 Audio/Video Receiver. This screen has the ability to produce up to six lines of information at any given time: see channel information that is streaming through the device; enjoy an easy selection for audio categories that are available; view the preset channel bank that you create for convenient selections; check digital read-outs for artists, song titles, and the time for each audio file that is playing; and make adjustments to the contrast and brightness for the display. This is simplified with the 10-segment bar graph that is featured for your assistance. A built-in FM transmitter is featured on each of the Sirius XACT XTR1 receivers. This gives you the capability of listening to your satellite radio stations over any existing FM radios that are installed in your home or vehicle. Choose from any of the available transmitting frequencies that are featured on the FM band, ranging from 88.1 megahertz to 107.9 megahertz. If you do not want to listen to the FM radio stations, turn off this function in the portable device’s menu settings. An internal clock is built into the Sirius XTR1 portable radio receivers. This clock is delivered in GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) format. View the digital clock read-out on the display screen in either a 12-hour or 24-hour format. This clock does keep up with Daylight Savings Time in regions in which this change is observed. The tuner allows you to set an alarm sleep timer, program alerts, and set an auto shutdown. The built-in tuner gives you the ability to set parental control locks and select songs at your discretion. The Sirius XTR1 A/V radio receiver has you covered. Purchase accessories, such as home or auto adapter kits, and accessories, such as docking system kits, allow you to experience a full stereo effect. Use headphones in the available A/V jack for a personal listening experience. A user’s guide ensures easy connection capabilities for your home and/or vehicle.
