The nine-shutter blade aperture produces photographs that are well rounded and have a smooth center focus. There is a lot to be said about the design of this Sigma lens. Constructed of rubber focus and zoom rings, the matte black finish offers a sleek look and feel. This switch is within easy reach even when the lens is attached to the camera, for convenient setting capabilities. The minimum focus distance and maximum reproduction ration is imprinted on the barrel of the lens. When it comes to focusing, this lens lacks nothing. Featuring Sigma’s Signature (HSM (Hypersonic Motor), this AF (auto-focusing) system performs fast without unwanted noise.
