Our policy definitions are as follows:

Firstly, whilst our policy may seem lengthy it’s purely to ensure everyone is covered and knows where they stand. We always advocate simply getting in touch for a chat if you are unsure of anything.
 
We aim to ensure all of our photos and descriptions accurately show you the item you are purchasing. Please check the description for details, if it's not in the photos or description it won't be included. We take all of our photos to ensure you get the best idea of what to expect with your order.
 
The estimated delivery date shown on eBay is exactly that; an estimate. This estimate is declared by eBay not us and we do not guarantee any item purchased will arrive on time unless you have chosen a guaranteed service such as Royal Mail Special Delivery. It is rare that items are late but during busy seasonal times, particularly December; items can take up to 2 weeks once in the postal system, so please bear this in mind. If you want a different postal service, simply get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.
 
We use Royal Mail for most orders and they state their estimated delivery time for 2nd class is 2-3 working days, whilst first class is 1-2 working days; this is from the time your order has gone into their postal network.
If your item does arrive later than you wanted, you are more than welcome to return the item as unwanted at your own cost. However if you choose to keep the item we do not offer any compensation if the item is still usable.
 
If your item has not arrived and you have chosen the free postage or 1st class option, we will ask you to allow 10 working days for anything to arrive late. Royal Mail will not declare an item as missing until this time has elapsed and to combat fraud we are working with Royal Mail to adhere to the same time frame before any refund is issued. Royal Mail may also contact you for confirmation.
 
We get proof of postage for everything due to an increase in fraudulent purchases and missing item claims.
 
If the item is not as described or damaged, you will be required to inform us within 48 hours of receiving any item. You may be asked to provide detailed photo's to show us the problem and any faulty returns will be subject to checks.
 
Unwanted items can only be returned within 30 days of contact with the original packaging and in exactly the same condition so please take care when opening items. The buyer is responsible for the cost of any return delivery and for the item until it is back in our hands.
 
Lord & Lady M cannot be held responsible for returned items that are lost or damaged therefore we advise you choose an appropriate service and contact us in advance of posting items. Any unwanted item that is returned in a different condition to its original condition may be subject to a partial refund or rejected refund/return.
 
We will not be held liable for damage or loss during transit for any item that we have to send to an intermediary shipping centre, therefore please ensure if you use this type of service to ship your item abroad, that your shipping centre covers you for loss or damage.
 
Please ensure you read the listings carefully. Listings under the new (other) category are often ex display or previously sold elsewhere, however we will provide details in the description. Please do not expect a new (other) item to include everything that would come with a new item that you would get from a retail store. The description will tell you what IS included as we may not always know what is missing if anything. If in any doubt, you should ask questions before buying or bidding.
 
If purchasing anything that connects to the internet, you will be responsible for ensuring the item is not damaged due to you surfing the internet and/or downloading malicious software that may slow down the device or render it useless. Any damage caused by this activity will render the returns policy null and void.
