The GekkoScience R909 Miner works, but the power supply runs very hot; and I deem it to be a fire hazard. When the power supply arrived, I noted that it was deformed from its original shape as if it has an overheating problem. I decided not to use the power supply and replaced it with one that I had that does not overheat. Would have been nice if the seller had mentioned this or put a picture of it in their listing. They conveniently left the power supply out of their pictures.
