  The quality is perfect. The item was indeed new when I received it. The springs were supposed to fit my 2003 330i sport. Unfortunately, the front springs did not fit correctly. I believe this is a manufacturing issue that needs to be addressed to avoid future complaints from other consumers that may purchase the product.
