There is something special about that solid feeling of a book in your hand, the wonderful aroma of ink and paper, those qualities are just a few reasons why I love books as much as I do.I am not ashamed to admit that not only am I a bibliophile, but a librocubicularist as well, which explains the ever-present stack of books at my bedside.Many people believe that reading books creates cognitive engagement that improves vocabulary, thinking skills, and concentration. It also can affect empathy, social perception, and emotional intelligence.As a teacher, I know how important it is to build a solid foundation of reading skills so that each of my students can have the chance to explore and enjoy the wonders of books.
I tell my students that being able to read is like owing a magical key that unlocks doors that can take you anywhere you wish to be.I hope that owning one of my books will bring you magic.
