Qui sommes-nous ?

I had as a youth an interest in collecting and digging Victorian bottles , which spurred my interest in antiques .I had an aptitude in woodworking and worked restoring antiques for a summer job at a rural country antique shop in Wiltshire .My Mom was the one that found the London College of Furniture ,which i attended to after High school.I met someone from the USA and moved here in 1984.I am Primarily a furniture restorer ,but work with marble ,paintings, metal work ,tortoiseshell ,garden ornaments and other aspects of the trade.I have worked for local museums auction houses,decorators dealers in fine and American furniture and many private collections and am known locally for fine work .I supplement my income selling a few items for myself and other people .This is not an Antique shop or some huge operation ,just a chap selling a few bits and bobs.I will be honest and fair with you and would expect the same .Thanks for looking and i hope you find something that makes you smile,

    Just received the large antique English brass basket today. It’s exactly as described by the seller who was a great communicator, and answered all of my questions. It was very carefully packed and arrived in perfect condition. I highly recommend the seller. Her stuff is amazing!
