  The Yamaha flute model 31 is an old model and is fine for a very used instrument. The appearance is ok and the sound is easy for a beginner student. The headjoint really said "sterling silver". After some improvements and adjustments (change the stopper and others), the flute is working properly. The case is an original old Yamaha plastic case and come with a cleaning rod, but without carring bagage. In summary, is a fine flute for beginners if you have some expereance on flute maintenance.
