  It was apparent , although new, these cups had been pre washed before packaging and sealed in a bag and stored before totally dry. They arrive with mildew between stacked cups and black mold forming around the top rim. They smelt really bad of mold. It took me a week of soaking in different solutions and then letting them air dry for another week before getting the smell out. Otherwise they were new and the kiddos like them.
