  The thin copper heat pipe for the motherboard portion was bent. Despite the ~60° bend, I straightened it out hoping that there was no catastrophic internal damage, but it did not work. When the CPU/GPU was under load, the motherboard temperature soared to 114°C. The CPU/GPU temperatures were nominal. For $40 for such an old and random part, I was expecting/hoping for better, but the seller doesn't have another compatible heatsync and I can't be bothered with faffing around with a return.

  Item shipped did not match images or description and was a lower quality substitute. Seller offered apologies and replacement for sending incorrect item but I returned for a refund.
