While it was able to make some improvement to the image quality it was nowhere near what I hoped/expected it to be. Just to be sure it was not a specific C64 that was the problem I tried it on another that I have but with the same result. Maybe it works better for your system. I am going to look into getting an HDMI mod, those seem to give much higher quality video output.
