Qui sommes-nous ?

Asala is an Arabic word, it means authenticity, the reason for choosing that name is that we believe in authenticity in all its aspects, it means back to nature, giving value to our authentic self and to be ourselves, appreciate art and artists and all kind of beauties we have in life.
Fascinating by the very old art of Moroccan rug weaving and its beauty, we choose to promote the handmade Moroccan rugs to the world, and we are proud and happy to give most of the credit to the Moroccan woman who made it and set in front of her tools without having any plan or sketch, she has only her Imagination, her feelings, her dreams and her collective memory of her ancestors.
We count our clients as more than clients, they are our partners in this - back to authenticity - journey, and when we sell one of our rugs, poufs or cushions, we hope it will find a place in another person heart as it has in our hearts.
