  I was assured by the seller that these could take a heavy Strand theatre light. In truth, they can't even handle a modern, lightweight LED light (a fraction of the intended use weight). They would make a good ornamental stand for your home, just be prepared to add a screw or three to fasten the metal straps to the legs: they slip down during use. Avoid at all costs if you want them for any kind of live performance, venue, DJ work etc: they are not suitable for that usage.

  Totally false. We have sold over 150 so far on this listing. We sell them to Robe Lighting CZ who have taken hundreds over the years. We also supply them with our own Strand Lights which are approx 3Kg in weight. Never in all this time have we had a single complaint, far from it! For example "Super quality item and fits my Strand light perfectly, looks and feels very high end - will definitely be back for anything else I need in future" No space to fit anymore in but they are in the same vain.
