For anyone using these, be sure to put the bracket end in first. Then insert the sliding rod. Tap the head of the rod gently with a hammer to get the rod to go in since it's initially a tight fit. Once it gets in the caliper rod moves without resistance. Then collapse the boot before pushing the rod in to seat it.
