To someone such as myself, from the Asatru religion this is a lackluster and almost useless version of Heimskringla. Dover, has the complete version in paperback which is much better!

It provides an excellent quick read of the basic facts w/accompanying pictures (alert: some are very graphic). With this volume as a foundation, you can then go on to additional sources to fill in the blanks. I am very satisfied with this little volume, and highly recommend it if you are not that informed about the Manson Family beyond the headlines.
