I’m never dissatisfied with any lenses I get from MAP camera. And this one was no different. There was absolutely no wear on the focus or control ring. The exposed lens glass surfaces were pristine and no dust was seen inside the lens. No defects noted at all. If you’re looking to buy a lens from a Japanese dealer just do yourself a favor and go to MAP.

The store owners checked to make sure I was aware of the customs fees before sending and the item was completely as described. I wanted to wait until I've used the lens in a couple of different environments before leaving feedback and all I can say is that the lens works perfectly. Thank you Map Camera, this tamron has sped up my work flow significantly.
