HOWEVER it could have been much better packed with lots more bubble-wrap for an item being shipped halfway around the world. The motor rattled around in the box and sustained damage to the fan cover, which I had to remove and repair. It's fortunate that I've done this several times before. Then I was able to run it up to speed on the jig with a rheostat to ensure all was well. Here are a few photos showing the damage to the box
