Halfwit said they wouldn’t fold over the shafts — that they would at most be slightly bent, but I was assured they would not be folded. Boots come over a week after I paid: they’re folded over completely at the ankles, with the shafts folded hard under the boots themselves. This breaks down the fibers in the leather and the boots’ll never stand up again.
