While the 4-pack was actually trunks and not boxer briefs, they were the right size and very satisfactory. I did not have any communication with the seller regarding the 4-pack.

His one response was uninformative and he didn't respond to a second communication. The shorts were indeed not boxer briefs and in fact were much too small. I will just donate them to charity.
