The problem is with the saw and EGO customer service. Both are defective. Proper chain tension cannot be achieved. The system EGO used is dumb, EGO knows it and couldn't care less. There are many similar posts on the internet of folks describing the exact same problem. I found a partial solution but the bar still has play once chain is tight. Don't buy this saw.
