Product Information

Japanese developer Nippon Ichi may be best known to North American gamers for its traditionally styled tactical RPGs released for the PlayStation 2. Phantom Brave is designed to bring a little bit of innovation to the studio's mastered genre, however, by freeing the player from conventions such as isometric battlefields and rigid movement gridlines. Characters can be moved freely around the organically layered battlefields of Phantom Brave, to compete in classic, turn-based battles of magic and melee. The game follows the story of Marona, an orphaned girl who had lived by herself on a strange island full of spirits and phantoms. Now, accompanied by her friend Ash, the ghost of a warrior who fell while fighting alongside her parents, the young heroine travels to different places on Phantom Island and uses her unique powers to help good people in need.

    The Pitfall 2 game cartridge arrived as described in the listing. I was a little concerned it was shipped in plastic bubble envelope, but the cartridge was also wrapped in so much bubble wrap it was just fine. The cartridge connectors were a bit dirty/dusty, but after a quick cleaning I tested it in the Atari and it worked! It was just meant to be a quick test to make sure it worked, but I couldn't stop playing and I ended up finishing it! I'm happy to finally add this classic to my collection!

    one of my favorite childhood games, it’s so nice to have this back in rotation at my place. the two days i spent crying over my package being stolen sucked but it turned out it was just delivered to my neighbor so I’m not holding the seller responsible for that. super quick turnaround, great selections and communication here, would def buy again!
