À propos de ce produit

Product Information

You can become a pinball wizard with the classic Atari Video Pinball game. This Atari 2600 cartridge was derived from a standalone console first released by Atari, and it lets players bring the excitement of an arcade game home with them. Although this is a simple game without bells and whistles, the Atari Video Pinball game version offers hours of addictive game play. This game supports the classic game play elements of the real thing; it even lets you nudge the table with the use of the joystick. Just be careful not to tilt, or you will have to start again. You can increase your skill level by playing through four difficulty levels, while trying to increase your score and keeping the ball in play for longer amounts of time. In addition to the four difficulty levels, the Atari Video Pinball game also has four modes. It features two modes each for a single player or for two players. The game even lets you take turns when in two player mode, just like playing a real arcade game. Video Pinball was first released by Atari in 1978 as a coin-op to the standalone home console version of the classic arcade game. The console brought the game Breakout to players at home. Bumper controllers placed on the sides, as well as a front dial, are used to play and control games, depending on which one is chosen. There are three types of games: Basketball, Pinball, and Breakout. Atari Video Pinball lets you to play 7 different games: four pinball variations, two versions of Breakout, and one basketball game. The game can also be switched to two player mode and then you and your opponent can take turns trying to score The unit provides digital on-screen scoring, color screen graphics, and automatic serves. Atari Video Pinball uses a micro controller with a small amount of RAM, instead of the ’Pong on a chip’ IC that had been used in previously released Atari pong machines. Video Pinball players mainly use the side bumper buttons, while those playing Basketball and Breakout use the dial and top buttons. The Atari 2600 was released in 1980, and features simulations of pinball machine shooters, flippers, spinners and bumpers. Atari Video Pinball also implements a good simulation of a real ball’s physics during game play. The game also uses a unique rollover bonus featuring an Atari logo on the screen in the middle of the playfield. You have to hit the logo four times to score an extra ball. Most of Atari Video Pinball involves learning how to perform specific functions with the joystick, such as activating the flippers or launching the ball. Moving the joystick down pulls the pinball plunger back, while pressing the joystick button sends the ball onto the playfield. The right and left flippers are activated by moving the joystick right or left. The ball can be gently nudged, just like a real life pinball machine, by holding the joystick down and moving the controller in a certain direction. You can score some goals and enjoy the retro feel and excitement with the realistic playing action of Atari Video Pinball.
