I wasn't sure it would fit because my mower is 21' and the body style looks slightly different, but it fits and does the job. I removed the spring. Now I can mow without grass clippings flying all over the place. It's nice compared to a regular shoot because it holds the debri and allows it to get cut up more. My mower model card says 1998 so I have an older mower.
