Manufacturer suggests, the texture is there for slippage and also to "gently massage the foot". Did the slider not stay on well? It is very hard to help a customer when we're alerted to a problem in FEEDBACK, not in email. All our pictures clearly show texture on the footbed. Also, our sliders are ADJUSTABLE, keeping the slider on the foot. I wear these and when they are worn in, are the most comfortable slider I've worn.
