Synopsis
The Wave is based on a true incident that occured in a high school history class in Palo Alto, California, in 1967. The powerful forces of group pressure that pervaded many historic movements such as Nazism are recreated in the classroom when history teacher Burt Ross introduces a "new" system to his students. And before long "The Wave," with its rules of "strength through discipline, community, and action, " sweeps from the classroom through the entire school. And as most of the students join the movement, Laurie Saunders and David Collins recognize the frightening momentum of "The Wave" and realize they must stop it before it's too late., The Wave is based on a true incident that occured in a high school history class in Palo Alto, California, in 1969. - n***j (17)- Évaluations laissées par l'acheteur.6 derniers moisAchat vérifiéSam accepted an offer for a lower price than he was asking for a Disney lunchbox. It was a fair price. He packaged it with more padding than I would have expected and sent it off immediately. It came in the condition that he described. He even included a personal note for me. It was a pleasure buying from him.Vintage 1960's Walt Disney School Bus Metal Lunchbox (No Thermos) (n°235842161757)
- k***t (16)- Évaluations laissées par l'acheteur.Dernier moisAchat vérifiéGreat seller, super fast shipping, book in great condition, wrapped really well and arrived with no issues. Seller included a sweet note that made us smile! The photos of the book matched the reality. The value was great, seller accepted my offer. Thank you! This movie tie-in edition is a good collector’s item for fans of the Keira Knightley movie.
- 6***n (2)- Évaluations laissées par l'acheteur.6 derniers moisAchat vérifiéThe quality of this used book was even better than I expected! It was described as "like new", however, I'm not sure it had ever even been read before. It arrived in some of the best packing I have ever seen for a book....or anything else for that matter. A thoughtful, kind handwritten note was included that made it even more special. It is evident that this seller cares about customer service and takes great care in delivering their product. I would highly recommend purchasing from them!
