Exterior mailing package looked fine, but the clear plastic bag the dress was inside was ripped, so I believe the damage happened in their warehouse prior to packaging/shipping. I was very disappointed that they did not take more care with handling and packing the item. They did issue a refund, though I would have much preferred to have the item I purchased undamaged.
