As I mentioned, I'd never want you to keep a piece you're unhappy with - I had tried to offer Babette a full refund but declined. I keep a stellar eBay reputation, I would not sell a heavily chipped piece to tarnish that. After examining the photos you've attached to your review, I do not see any chips. A roughened area along the inner rim would have to be expected from a glass piece nearly 80 years old. May your sweet yorkie RIP.
