They use “pre-owned” as a lazy way to avoid a chargeback. The Birks I bought had totally dry rotted cork that will not last long and although wearable were not worth the amount I paid for them. Very disappointing. I would have returned if I had not been recovering from surgery. Shipping was extremely high.
