The unit fits nicely in a pocket but, using the 14500 cell size, has more battery life than the smaller pocket units. The 555nm has got to be one of the best colors. Perfect beam quality, too. The dust window is a huge positive since I no longer have to worry about scratching the collimator lens.

The beam spec is amazing on the dpss models with a tight and narrow beam, and dot with no artifacts. The fact that these units have a dust cover window and simple but well-machined heavy brass host really sold it for me. Best quality laser I've ever owned.
