I actually like them on cast iron and hardened steel in addition to aluminum. On steel they will allow you to make really shallow cuts and just take a whisker off, which you can't do with most inserts. You can't beat them for the price. Expect delivery to be a bit slow (3-4 weeks) but that's to be expected with something being imported.

You can't beat them for this price. I'm switching all of my boring bars over to this kind in various sizes. Expect shipping to be a bit slow (3-4 weeks) but you have to expect that for something being imported.
