Around 1/2 cut just to make it fits good. The plastic shield that is below the original inter cooler will not fit and useless. The radiator fan will not reach all the way until bottom of the inter cooler. It ends up 1.5 fin lines can not be cooled by the fan. It is very heady compared to original.

Do yourself a favor and just get some new clamps from a trusted brand or reuse the stock ones. The hoses fit great with a little trimming tho otherwise, still the best deal honestly if your looking to replace those 30 year old hoses -miata na 1.6
