The listing did not mention the yellowing on the back strap or the tarnishing on the buckle. And those details were not evident in the pictures. I've managed to decrease the yellow after some stain treatment and a few rounds through the wash. Blue Magic didn't have much effect on the buckle. Overall I'm in the middle about this purchase. It was $15 to replace a $45 hat that I lost and is no longer available in the parks. So I guess that's ok.
