I personally built the set and honestly do not recall using any broken or non-Lego pieces. I understand the frustration with having to reassemble without instructions (I used the online instructions from the LEGO site) but I did indicate in the description that the item would mail out partially disassembled for shipping purposes. As frustrated as you are, I do appreciate that you only provided a neutral comment, so thank you!
