Aligned properly without modification to my airlift bumper. One minor thing that surprised me since the rest of the carrier is so well built, was the studs that hold the wheel, they are not 9/16 as on the hubs, they are smaller at 1/2. There may be a reason for this, but it does allow more play and makes it a little more difficult to get the 150+ lb wheel centered on the lugs. Still a quality carrier and I do recommend it.
