First the paddle wheel was mounted backwards on the drive shaft, making it inoperable. The photos below show the new shaft above and the original Polaris shaft below, pushing it against the housing and making it unusable. Second the follower wheel mounted off center from the driving wheel. I ended up using the original Polaris wheel and took the rubber rim off the new wheel so there was good contact.
