The packaging was good but unfortunately it was torn open during shipping. This wouldn't have been an issue except one of the screw caps was missing (it was on the saw in the photos). I assume in fell out in transit and out of the tear in the package. Likely rolling around on the floor of a UPS truck somewhere. Shouldn't be hard to replace. Overall a good saw for the price.
