He had to figure out how to get it to 'talk' to my computer as it wanted to deal with i-tunes (the major music site back in the day). While recording (digitizing) you can't listen to the record as it's playing. It makes a separate file for each song. I will have to figure out how to organize and group the files for each album. This is not like copying a CD. It is a lot of work. The turntable does what is advertised.
