Installed on a 2009 Toyota Tacoma, but as most comments on Tacoma World report, there is a lack of space between the bed and tailgate to accommodate both the gas strut and the steel wire rope cable with the securing ferrules on the cable ends. Removing the cable, would be a solution but I'm sure the gas strut might not support the weight of half the tailgate. I may try that solution later. Redline Tuning hood lift

Only thing is the axle does not fit for grand prix the gxp version and tbh the return process was terrible the worst I’ve ever had to deal with. The company literally only replied once a day they offered me 15% back and keep the part then 70% after I told them multiple times I can’t do anything with the part also tried charging me a stocking fee. I probably won’t ever shop with them again just because of the cus service
