The description included “high quality ceramic,” so I neglected to closely inspect all photos. Two of the photos did reveal the larger flaw. Neither flaw was mentioned in the description. I reached out to the seller, who was unwilling to compensate in any way. Lesson: carefully inspect all photos, despite description. I just did not give her a partial refund as she requested, because I don't offer partial refunds. I try very hard to accommodate my buyers and to package well and ship promptly. I am sorry the buyer was unhappy with the purchase but as I indicated, she had the option to return the plates which she did not. JoJo
