Our customers range from individual car and motorcycle restorers to industrial corporations to Formula One racing teams. Far superior to carbon steel, our ‘Tungsten’ branded taps and dies are manufactured in hardened and tempered tungsten steel to Rockwell hardness standard 58-61C and are suitable for cutting new threads and repairing existing threads in mild steel, aluminium, copper, brass and other non-ferrous metals. We also supply High-Speed Steel (HSS) taps and dies which may be more suitable for large batch machine tapping processes.
