I have noticed a few paint marks on the reverse which don’t bother me but clearly show the item is not a ‘first’. I don’t recall any mention of this in the details. The paint marks on the reverse are for the f.actory inspectors to tell them who the artist was during the production. The factory would have periodic checks as to the quality of the work. The paint marks are nothing to do with the quality. If the inspectors were concerned about the quality the item would not have been glazed.
