Nothing we can do but shake our heads and move on...

Definitely avoid this QS my friend had the exact mistake and they will not work with you on the matter. Except that we do not in any way connect to or interact with the ECU - because we are a "stand alone" design. Customer then waited over 30 days to come up here, never contacted us or our customer support, just came up here to rant and leave negative feedback. Nothing we can do to fix whatever this persons problem is, sorry
